A schedule of presentations as well as an overview of conference events will be made available online. Be sure to check back for the latest information as details are subject to change.
We welcome and encourage speakers to submit their papers for online posting after the conference. Please email Tina Leitzel to submit papers for online posting.
All speakers are required to register for the conference as either attendees or exhibitors. Discounts are available for KWEA/WEF members, AWWA members, young professionals (members), and retirees.
Once your paper has been accepted and placed into the conference schedule, each speaker will receive an email with the date, time, and location for the presentation. These emails are typically distributed a few weeks before the conference. At this time speakers will be asked to verify contact information and to submit a bio.
Projectors and laptops are provided. Please bring a copy of the presentation on a USB memory stick to simplify loading it onto the provided laptops.
All moderators are required to register for the conference as either attendees or exhibitors. Discounts are available for KWEA/WEF members, AWWA members, young professionals (members), and retirees.
Of course! Online registration is preferred and encouraged.
If you know funds are available for the transaction, please be sure to double check the billing address and zip code on file with your banking institution. The information entered during the transaction MUST match the information on file with your bank or card issuer. This is a security requirement, and failure to provide accurate information will result in a card decline error.
Exhibitor registration closes Monday, August 14 at 5 p.m. To register a booth after this date, please contact Ms. Hank Boyer. Attendee registration is open online until Monday, August 31 at 5 p.m. While on-site registration is available for attendees, we strongly suggest registering before the conference to eliminate long lines and wait times when arriving at the conference.
For each presentation attended, 3/4 hour credit is earned for CEUs; PDHs are awarded by the 1/2 hour (more information). In addition, credit is awarded for the opening session and events such as Backhoe Rodeo, Meter Madness, Hydrant Hysteria, Environment Excellence Competition, and Water Taste Test.
Credit hour reports will be emailed within two weeks of the close of conference. In order to receive a copy of the report, you must complete the on-site request form available at the registration desk.
